Petra
is the preserved town (means "rock" in greek), looming over
the village is an enormous, almost perpendicular rock, which
is topped with the church of Panagia Glykofyloussa (Our Lady
the Sweet kiss). You reach the top of the rock by climbing
the114 steps carved into the stone. The long sandy beach with
crystal clear water attracts people each year. |
